Biography

Joseph was born in 1859. He was the son of Joseph Allison and Eliza Rhea. He passed away in 1875. [1]

After his brother Russell murdered by Braswell brothers, Joseph was member of posse to capture them. Murdered the next day. Joe and Teke Eventually hanged for murder. Only hanging in Putnam County. Another account of hanging recorded by brother J.H. Grime, a preacher who witnessed the hanging. Brother Grime is direct ancestor of this profile manager on the other side of the family, Buried Rhea Cemetery Putnam Co TN next to his brother.
