Biography

When Alison ALISON was born on 26 February 1777 in Traprain, Prestonkirk, East Lothian, her father, William, was 31, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 44. She was baptised on 9 March 1777 in Prestonkirk.^[1]

She married George RENNIE and the had a son William born 27 April 1798 in Waughton, Prestonkirk, Haddingtonshire, Scotland and baptised on 29 July 1798 in Prestonkirk.^[2]

She, as Elsie ALISON, married Richard SANDILANDS on 8 December 1811 in her hometown of Prestonkirk^[3]. They had two children during their marriage.

She appeared in the following census years -
