Biography

Tennie G. Amonette was born on March 14, 1844 in Celina, Clay County, Tennessee, United States, daughter of William Amonette (1807–1849) and Martha P. Armstrong (1816–1883).

Tennie (17) married James Jasper Womack (27) (born on July 7, 1834 in Warren County; son of Abner Clemons Womack and Mary Ascenith (Hand) Womack) on March 10, 1862 in Warren County.[1]

Tennie died on July 18, 1905 in McMinnville, Warren County, Tennessee, aged 61. She was buried in Riverside Cemetery, McMinnville, Warren County, Tennessee.[2]
