He married Katherine Hopton, daughter of Edward Hopton, Esq., Steward of Richard's Castle & Staunton Lacy and Elizabeth Wolriche, circa 1545 at of London, Middlesex, England; They had 1 son (Sir Henry, Alderman of London) and 3 daughters (Christian, wife of John Robinson; Lucretia, wife of Edmund Bressey, Esq; & Elizabeth, wife of Sir William Garraway).^[3]

Thomas Anderson left a will on 24 May 1552.^[4]

His estate was probated on 20 March 1554.^[5]
