Biography
Margaret Jeffreys (Jefferies)was the daughter of Anthony Anderson and Margaret Jeffreys. [1]When she was 18, she married Hammond Gowen, a merchant, in Holy Trinity, Quebec City's Anglican cathedral.[2][3]
Margaret died in April 1824,[4] followed on June 15 by their six-month-old son, William Cutter.[5]
