Two marriages for Elisha Anderson are listed in Book "A History of Saint George Parish Colony of Georgia, Jefferson Co State of Georgia." by Marion Little Durden published 1983 by Magnolia Press, Swainsboro, Georgia.

First marriage about 1798 or before to Sarah Rheny in presumably Burke Co GA. He married second 29 Oct 1807 to Drucilla Caldwell in Jefferson Co GA. Drusilla was the widow of Henry Caldwell who died in 1803. Children of Elisha and Drusilla -- Elijah Cumbie b 1799 GA, Acenitha b GA, Jane b GA.

Another possible marriage by Elisha Anderson Sarah Whigham in 1826. Ref: A History of St George Parish Colony of GA, Jefferson Co State of GA Index to Marriages by Marion Little Durdan 1983.

Will of Elisha Anderson (son of Elijah and Lavinia (Brack) Anderson).

Anderson, Elisha, dated 20 Mar 1834 Probated 3 Nov 1834. . . . . . leaves to wife (not named) land (160 acres) and 0 to be given to his son Elijah at her death. Son, Elijah, daughters Seanna, Jane, and Lavinia: furniture, etc, from the estate of my mother, Lavinia Anderson. This to make shares of my younger daughters, Jane and Lavinia, equal with shares of the other children.

Executor: William Parmer Witnesses: James Freeman, Joshia Parmer, John Parmer.

Bg Note: This will of Elisha Anderson is dated 1834 and mentions the estate of his mother Lavinia Anderson. This would indicate that Lavinia had died BEFORE 1834 and not 1844 as stated. Lavinia is on the 1830 Census of Montgomery Co AL at about age 67 and her probate records are found in 1844 in Lowndes Co with William Parmer Administrator. Lowndes Co and Montgomery Co share a common border. William Parmer is husband of Lavinia's granddaughter Elizabeth. Elizabeth is d/o Eleazor Anderson.
