Susannah married Asa Slayton on 14 April 1791 in Chester, Hampshire County, Massachusetts, (now Hampden Co.). The town records of Murrayfield (re-named Chester in 1783), cited in Copeland's History of Murrayfield, p.153, list an intention to marry between Asa Slayton and "widow Sarah Anderson" dated 13 March 1791.
