Annie (Peterson) Anderson was born in Norway
Anna "Annie" Marie Peterson was born in October 1853 in Norway.[1] According to US census records, she came to the United States in 1866 or 1868.[2][3] Her maiden name was previously thought to be Anderson. Her children's marriage records and obituaries have proven her maiden name was Peterson.

She married John L North, and together they had the following children:

  • Oscar John (1872-1955) m. Emma Sophia Carlson
  • Philip Martin (1873-1961) m. Emma D ?
  • Charles Gustave (1876-1952) m. Ethel Andross
  • Emelie Marie (1877-1940) m. Harvey A Pittenger
  • Jennie Octavia (1879-1959) m. Clyde Herbert Packer
  • Peter Marcus (1882-1960) m. Adele M Gerson

Annie and John moved to Portland, Oregon around 1877. They separated sometime after the birth of their son Peter.

Annie married Robert Rommel on September 5, 1888 in Portland, Oregon.[4]

After her husband Robert's death, Annie married Andrew M Anderson on January 19, 1926 in Multnomah County, Oregon.[5][6]

She passed away June 4, 1937 in Portland.[7] She is buried with her husband Andrew in Rose City Cemetery in Portland.[8]
