Elizabeth's origins are unknown. WikiTree profiles Schermerhorn-30 and Anderson-15875 were created to represent her, but there was no indication of why her maiden name was thought to be Schermerhorn or Anderson. She was married to Jacob S(e)lover.

Research Notes
A note added to this page stated that Elizabeth has descendants who have autosomal DNA matches with people with ancestors named Schermerhorn, and suggests that this is evidence for her name being Schermerhorn. The WikiTree page Common Genome of Descendants of Francis Bird was cited for more information. This is a spurious argument. Autosomal DNA does not come stamped with the surname of the ancestral line it came from. Even if it did, because her husband had Schermerhorn ancestry (his mother was Sophia Schermerhorn), there is absolutely no basis for asserting that any "Schermerhorn DNA" in her descendants suggests that she was a Schermerhorn. -Smith-62120 13:26, 31 March 2020 (UTC)

Unknown's really bug me, this is one that I have done quite a bit of research and have found no sources that support either Anderson or Schermerhorn.
