Brita Kristina Anderson was born on January 29, 1879 in Fröån Åre, Jämtland, Sverige, daughter of Nils Anderson (1854–1929) and Anna Helena Blom (1861–1895).

Christine (20) married Emanuel Ludwig Johnson (42) (born in 1856 in Sweden; son of John Eriksson) on April 29, 1899 in Soudan, Minnesota.^[1] Their children were:

• Martin Richard Johnson (1899–1989)
• Carl Emmanuel Johnson (1902–1971)

Christine (23) married Peter August Leandersson (43) (born on February 1, 1859 in Godegård, Östergötland, Sverige) in 1903 in Leander, Minnesota (near Cook). Their son was George William Leander (1904–1990).
