Biography

Taylor was born in Ayr in 1802.[1] Taylor married Jackson Millsop in 1823.[2]Jackson and Taylor raised a family of 6 in Ayr. After Taylor was widowed, she married Hugh Bradley/Brodie in Dundonald in 1847.[3]They did not have any childen of their own. The couple met with hard times when Hugh, a blacksmith, became partially blind. They both spent time in the Poorhouses and indeed Taylor died in the Cunningham Combination Poorhouse in Irvine in 1875, she was buried in the grounds there and had been in the lunatic ward.[4]
