Cyprian Anderson was born circa 1708, in Richmond county, Virginia, a son of Walter Anderson and his first wife, Susannah (Prou) Anderson. Cyprian married Susannah (?nee) and had a son named Cyprian Anderson, born about 1731 King George County, Virginia. Cyprian Anderson, Sr. died as a young man, on July 6, 1733, in King George county, Virginia. His son became an orphan under the care of Thomas Turner, gentleman of Virginia.
After Cyprian's death, Susannah (?nee) Anderson married a Mr. Roach:
In Court Order Book 2 page 431 dated 1 Feb 1744/5 Administration on the estate of Cyprian Anderson granted To his widow Susannah Anderson and his estate ordered to be appraised. This was returned to court 5 Apr 1745. In Court Order Book #3, p 879 the dower of Susannah Roach in the lands of her former husband Seprean (Cyprian) Anderson, deceased, is ordered to be laid out p.883). There are further recordings in Orphan's Account Book 1740-1761, page 21. Susannah Anderson, widow and Administratrix of Cyprian Anderson, deceased, gave bond in the sum of LI 00 with Edward Hoyle, her security, on 1 February 1744/5 for true administration on her deceased husband's estate.
