Niels Christensen Hofer (or Hofver). Priest in Romedal 1655-1665. From Jylland, Danmark. Otherwise unknown. Birth year unknown, died 1665, the probate was recorded 25 Aug 1666. Married to Ingeborg Evensdatter, datter to Kristiania-merchant Even Anderson and his wife Marthe Hansdatter. Hofer’s children are named in the probate record as follows:
Johan Buchardsen (Borchersen) Madfelt (Modfeldt). Priest in Romedal 1665-1674. Birthplace and year is unknown. He was married to Mette Nielsdatter Hofer (see 15-4 above for more about her). Four children were named in (legal) documents in 1701:
