Funeral services for Lillian Hartley, 87, of San Saba, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, in the San Saba City Cemetery with John Shero officiating.
Mrs. Hartley died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, in Llano.
She was born July 29, 1916, in Dothan, Ala., the daughter of William Franklin Anderson and Nora Cain Anderson. On July 21, 1935, Lillian Anderson and Leon C. Hartley were married in San Saba. Leon preceded her in death February of 1990. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of San Saba.
Survivors include her two daughters, Michele Whitley and husband, Farrel, of San Saba and Suzanne Gage and husband, James, of Brownwood; son, Greg Hartley and wife, Ruth, of Austin; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lillian Etter of San Saba; one sister, Alice Bernard of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother, Cecil Clink.
