Glad you Volunteered!

You are now a member of WikiTree! Please help us build one Collaborative Global Family Tree, which means only one profile per person. It's important that no duplicates are created and profiles are properly sourced- if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

To help you get started, view this introductory WikiTree video.

For a list of Member benefits, see Community Members page.

We also have Mentors who will be glad to answer questions.

I have been tracing my family tree now for many years and with all the new technologies it has become much more interesting.

Please get in touch if you think you have links with my tree and especially if we have DNA matches.

I live in Kinross in Scotland and make frequent visits to Scotland's People in Edinburgh.

Thank you for uploading a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step instruction of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.

The Help Pages give lots of information about the process starting with: 'Before you import a GEDCOM'

Find instructions here for reviewing your GEDMatch Report if you want to import it into WikiTree.
