Leonard Anderson was Killed in Action during World War II.
Biography
Leonard was born on 17 Dec 1923, the son of William Charles Anderson and Victoria Melvina St. Lawrence.[1][2] He married Leona Hilliard on 17 Jun 1945 in Beltrami county, MN. Leonard was in the Navy and served as a Machinist's Mate 3c,[3] USNR during WWII. Leonard was lost at sea on 30 Jul 1945[4] as he was aboard the U.S.S. Indianapolis went it was sunk by Japanese torpedos.[5][6]
