"Charles R. Hixson
Services for Charles R. Hixson, 83, Indianapolis, a retired machinist, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Wilson Chapel of the Chimes, with burial in Washington Park North Cemetery. He died Saturday in Cold Spring Road Veterans Administration Hospital. Born at New Albany, Mr. Hixson, an Army veteran of World War I and II, had lived here about 50 years. He was employed by Stewart-Warner Corporation 15 years, retiring in 1959. Prior to that, Mr. Hixson worked for the former New York Central Railroad. He was a member of Englewood Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ragna Hixson; two sons, Charles R. Hixson of London, England, and Kenneth L. Hixson of Dallas, Tex., and a daughter, Mrs. Lila Mae Ventura of Concord, Calif."

Ragna M. Anderson Hixson, 90, died Tuesday In a Carmel nursing home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday In Wilson Chapel of the Chimes. Born In Duluth. Minn., she lived in Carmel many years. She was the widow of Charles R. Hixson. Survivors include her son, Roger Hendrickson and a daughter, Betty M. Sesser; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren."
