Rachel Anderson was born at Burton Agnes in Yorkshire, the daughter of William Anderson and his wife, Anne Chodick and was baptised there on 1 September. [1]
On 24 March 1781 she married John Cranswick [2] son of Thomas Cranswick of Foston on the Wolds and his wife, Catherine Lundy. They raised their family at Burton Agnes.
Needs Validation : Rachel died some time after 1798 when their last child, Catherine, was born.
