Biography

Annie Josefina Charlotte Anderson was born on 29 November 1894 in Las Animas, Bent County, Colorado. ^{[1] [2]} Her parents were Samuel Anderson and Hilda Sannquist. ^[1] She was baptized on 5 January 1895 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Las Animas. ^[1]

She appeared in the 1900 US Census in Black Hawk Township, Rock Island County, Illinois. ^[3] She was living with her parents and siblings. ^[3]

She was confirmed into the Salem Lutheran Church in Chicago on 30 May 1909. ^[4]

She appeared in the 1910 US Census at 4644 Champlain Avenue in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. ^[5] She was living with her parents, siblings, her grandmother Ida Sannquist, Mede Sannquist, and a lodger Bessie Erickson. ^[5]

She married Gustav W. Kolbe on 14 July 1911 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. ^[6]

She married Daniel G. Nelson on 31 December 1912 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. ^[7] They had one child:

    Mr. and Mrs. Daniel G. Nelson have sold their attractive home at 312 Fair street to the Milton Westlakes of this city, who will take possession on October 25. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson will make their future home in Los Angeles, Calif., where a number of her family members live, leaving for the West Coast the latter part of October. The Nelsons came here 15 years ago, at which time he purchased the Sycamore Laundry from Clayton Burress, retiring from that business about a year ago. Their many friends whom they have acquired during their residence here are reluctant in having them leave.

    Daniel G. Nelson, A Former Sycamore Business Man, Dies
    
    Daniel G. Nelson, 71, former owner and manager of Sycamore laundry, died September 14th, in Sunland, Calif. He and his wife had gone to the west coast following his retirement in Sycamore several years ago.
    
    It was learned that the Masonic Board of Los Angeles conducted a service in his behalf on September 17th, in the Forest Lawn Little Church of the Flowers and burial is in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, Calif., Mr. Nelson was a member of Sycamore Lodge AF and AM (Masons).
    
    His widow's address is 8640 Hillrose St., Sunland, Calif.
