He was born in Lightcap, Corson County, South Dakota, the son of Otto & Mary (Wagener) Anderson. Lightcap is a community that is now a "ghost town."
He first married Marianne "Marion" Donart and they had two daughters, Karen and Nancy
He m/2 Majel Strough; they had no children together.
He died at his retiremen location, Punta Gorda, Charlotte County, Florida and is buried there with his second wife Majel in the Royal Palm Memorial Gardens. [1]
