Lydia Elizabeth Anderson was born on July 19, 1866 in Wattle Flat, Colony of New South Wales, daughter of Massom Elizabeth Smith (1834–1881).[1]

Lydia (21) married George Herbert Marshall (23) (born on September 11, 1863 in Bathurst, New South Wales (Australia); son of William Marshall and Harriet (Barsden) Marshall) on August 22, 1887 in Peel, New South Wales (Australia).[2] Their children were:

Lydia died on February 26, 1935 in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia, aged 68.[3]
