Robinette—or Robert—Anderson was born in 1809 in Wilkes County, North Carolina. He was a son of Samuel Anderson, Sr. & Martha Ellis.
Robert spent his entire life in Wilkes County. He first married Rebecca Curry in 1828. They were the parents of at least 4 children. Robert was widowed in 1847.
Sometime after Rebecca's death, Robert remarried. To Keziah Hayes. Together, they had 10 children. The first one being born in 1850; & the last born in 1870, the year before Robert died.
He was around 61-62 years old when he passed away. And he was most likely buried in the Anderson Family Cemetery in Wilkes County, North Carolina.
