The Birth Date is a rough estimate. See the text for details.
Henry Anderson's family is mainly informed by a will, proved May 1734 in Henrico County.[1]
However, one source indicates that Prudence Stratton, orphan of Edward Stratton, and Henry Anderson had married in Sep 1704 in Henrico County. Their children are below-connoted, in an as yet unconfirmed Virginia Historical Society (VHS) submission.[2][3]
His wife at the time of his will was named as Elizabeth.[1]
Claiborne Clayborne or Clyborn Anderson, 21 Dec 1732, baptized 14 Jan 1732[4][2] - note, however, that a christening record indicates his birth to be that of 2nd wife Elisabeth's 21 Dec 1732; and some accounts [e.g., Pritchett (2007)][3] also attribute Claiborne to the second marriage. Given Elizabeth's surname, onomastics would also predict that this child was of the second marriage.[5] Note that some are confirmed in the Bristol Parish Register, as noted.[4]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Henry by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree:
The last merge now brings to our attention the two sons named Henry. It is not impossible, especially because one could have been of the first marriage based upon the timeline, and the other of the second, but it would be good to have confirmation and sources that reassure us that both of these Henrys belong to this father, Henry.
Anderson-48253 and Anderson-16274 appear to represent the same person because: the will data (on Ann (Anderson) Ward, specifically) and sibling named Henry help to clarify that this is the same person. The son Henry is probably a duplicate that will subsequently need to be merged. Thanks.
probably this Henry Anderson is the husband of Prudence, daughter of Edward Stratton (see his profile page at Stratton-49 for more info - let me know if your info matches up; I can't tell by what's posted)
