B. M. Samuelson, of Axtell, conducting the service at the church and at the graveside. Burial was in the Minden cemetery. Mrs. Lillie Alfred A Nelsen, nee Anderson, was born in Worchester, Mass., September 21, 1901 and died at the Seeley hospital in Minden, November 12, 1937 and was thus 36 years, 1 month and 21 days of age. While yet a child, she came with her parents to Kearney county, Nebraska. In 1915 she was confirmed in the Zareth, now American Lutheran church of Minden. In 1923 she was united in marriage to Glen T. Nelsen of Minden. To this union were born three children. She has been faithful in her home and in her church. Her illness was of short duration and therefore was death unexpected. She leaves to mourn her seemingly untimely departure, her husband, one son Gilbert and two daughters, Monabelle and Willa Mae; a brother Elmer Anderson of Eugene, Oregon, a sister, Mrs. Alfred Walberg of Minden, and her father, John Anderson of Minden. Her mother has preceded her in death. Besides these there are other relatives and numerous friends who are grieved today. We shall sleep, but not forever, In the lone and silent grave; Blessed be the Lord that taketh, Blessed be the Lord that gave. In the bright, eternal city Death can never, never come! In His own good time He'll call us From our rest to home, sweet home.
