Biography

Richard Anderson and Catherine his wife of Hanover County deed to William Smith of Louisa Co. Deed of Trust. -£10 - 413 acres known by the name of Bullocks, which I purchased of William Dandridge; also all that part of a tract of land purchased of Charles Thomas, which lays to the north of the main road, except the lot which contains the new house; 330 acres in Louisa Co., known by the name of the Head Quarters; also 40-50 acres in the fork of Mill Creek, adj. Nathaniel Dandridge lately surveyed. That the said Smith to sell the said tracts, to pay the debts of said Anderson to William Johnson of New Castle in Hanover Co., for which debts John Fox of Louisa is security on Replevin Bonds and the pay the damages he has paid for said Anderson.
