Daniel was age 18 and living with his parents in Nicholas County, Kentucky in 1850. [1] His Draft Registration for the Civil War gives his birth year as 1833. [2]
Daniel Anderson married Elizabeth Bixler in Brown County, Illinois on 24 March 1859. [3][4]
He was in the 1865 state census for Illinois, living in Brown County. [5]
In 1880 he resided in Brown County, Illinois with his wife Elizabeth, age 39, their two daughters Sarah E. Anderson, 18 and Lutitia Anderson, 17 and his "son" Walter Furguson age 9. [6]
Daniel died after 1881 when he gave consent for the marriage of his daughter Sarah E. to Henry A. Hobbs in Brown County, Illinois. [7]
