Mary was born about 1828 in Ohio. Mary is the child of James Anderson and Mary Horton. She married Richard Cossins on 24 Aug1845 in Decatur, Indiana. They had a large family. She died and was buried in the Enon Cemetery, Wishart Township, Missouri.[1]

Note: It is said that Mary was full blood Cherokee with the last name Blackfoot. More research needs to be done on this.
