Biography
Pernina was born in 1800. Ancestry lists that she is the daughter of Henry Anderson (1771-1815) and Mary Taylor (1780-1830). [1] She married William Perkins on October 28, 1816 in Laurens County, Georgia.[2] Pernina Anderson is listed on the 1850 Census in Pike County, Alabama with three children: Henry Perkins, Peter Perkins, and Elizabeth (Perkins) Hurley. [3] She passed away on November 6, 1887 in Pikeville, Wayne County, North Carolina according to her obituary published in, "The Christian Worker; Quaker Periodicals" (1887 Jan - 1888 Dec (Vol 17 - 18)).
