Biography

Per was the son of an åbo farmer in the village of Revinge. He left home about 1810 or 1811.

Second husband of Bengta Olsdotter. She was a widow with 3 children at the time of their marriage. Per took over the farm that had been worked by his wife's first husband, Östa Gårdstånga No 6. In 1833, the family moved to Skeglinge. In 1840, they returned to Holmby parish, but apparently had financial difficulties. In 1846, Per is mentioned as "former farmer" ("fd hemmansbrukare"). ^[1]

Per passed away at age 60. No cause of death was recorded. He was buried on August 27 1848.

Research Notes

A note in the 1846 household record states that the family lived in Östra Gårdstånga but were not allowed to have their official address there until 1846. The note does not explain why.
