The family lived in Väktartorpet, a thorpe under Näshult vicarage (prästgård) [8]
In 1866 Jonas and Anna Lisa moved to the thorpe Rosenholm, under Äng. That little house is still standing and is now a summer home for a Danish family[8][6]
In 1866 son Anders Magnus went to Stockholm[6] to work for one year and then he returned and lived with his parents. He married Matilda Johansdotter and they moved to another thorpe near Rosenholm, called Granäng (under Haddarp Östergård). Anders Magnus bought the thorpe and renamed it Rosendal. The house is still there, owned by a Danish couple. Anders Magnus was a carpenter and the house is still in very good repair. Anders Magnus and Matilda hade many children and almost all of them moved to Eksjö. Son Anders Edvard remained in the village. He was also a carpenter and he and his family lived in Rosendal.[8]
