Margaret Alice Andrew was born at Seaton Street Aubigny, Toowoomba Queensland, on 16 Nov 1890. She was the first daughter and the fourth child of James and Elizabeth Andrew, who had 12 children. [1] Margaret Alice, was known as Peg or Peggy.
Peggy was the second wife of Benjamin John Palmer. They married on 24 March 1919 at Toowoomba. [2]
Peggy and her husband had three daughters; Vivian Thelma Palmer (Watson), Monica Margaret Palmer (Musgrave), and Beryl Jean Palmer (Youngberry).
Mrs Peggy Palmer died at the age of 96 years, on 29 December 1986, at the Wesley Hospital, Toowoomba. [3] Her funeral notice was placed in the Toowoomba Chronicle newspaper on 29 December 1986. [4] She was buried at Drayton and Toowoomba Cemetery, in Queensland, on 31 Dec 1986. [5]
