He was the brother of Louisa Adelaide Andrews, Emily Jane Andrews, William John Henry Andrews, Mary Isabel Andrews, Evelyn Andrews, John Francis Charles Andrews, Ettie (Andrews) Carter and Emily Mary Andrews.

He married Evelyn Floris Denison on 23 February 1924 at Parramatta North, New South Wales, Australia^[2].
