It is my sad duty to chronicle the death of one of the very oldest residents of this district, Mr James Andrews, who died at his residence on Saturday morning last, being due in a real measure to senile decay. Deceased was in his eightieth year, and up to the week previous to his death had enjoyed good health. Much sympathy is felt throughout the district for the widow and nine children left to mourn their sad loss. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon when a large cortege of friends followed the remains to their last resting place in the Nowra Cemetery.
Mr. James Andrews, one of the pioneers of the district, died suddenly at his residence this morning.
