Biography

Thomas was born about 1690 in Henrico, Virginia. Thomas was mentioned in his father Thomas Andrews’ Will of 1731:

”Item: I give and bequeath to my son Thomas Andrews one hundred acres of Land more or less where he now liveth, beginning at a corner pine from there to (a black oak corner?) (and to the Road?) to him the said Thomas his Heirs and assigns forever.”[1]

Thomas’ wife’s name was Jane, Some of their children’s births were recorded in the Bristol Parish Registers, Henrico County, Virginia[2]:

  1. Eliz D of Tho and Jane andrews born 11th Novemr 1726 bapt 15 1727
  2. Martha Datr of Thos & Jean Andrews born 16th March 1731 bapt June 1st 1732

Research Notes

His parents were in Virginia at the time of his birth so he cannot have been christened in Wiltshire, England. That was a different man. The name Andrews is extremely common in England..
