Henry was born in 1890. He was the son of Henry Andrews and Mary Eden. [1] .
Henry was listed in the WWI reserves as a Sheep and General Farmer in Te Kuiti The 1919 Electoral Roll has Henry Leonard and Henry Thomas both listed as farming at Taupiri, Te Kuiti. The farm was in the area known as Rangitoto.
The 1928 Electoral Roll has Henry Leonard as a farmer, Thomas Henry as a "Motor Expert", Ivy Ella and Vera Neata all living at Taupiri, Te Kuiti
The 1938 Census has Henry Leonard still farming, Thomas Henry is retired and Ivy Ella is with them.
By 1949, Henry Leonard and Ivy Ella are both on the farm
Henry Leonard passed away in 1954 [2] The Cemetery Records show Henry Leonard Andrews as a 64 year old Presbytarian Farmer born in Foxton and died on 23 November 1954 buried 24 November in Old Block 1 plot 44 Warrant 450
