Lieutenant Miles Norton, born 30 March 1741 in Goshen, Connecticut, died there 17 September 1795, and his wives 1) Esther Norton 2) Sybil Andrews and 3) Anne Agard are honored for service to Connecticut by the Daughters of the American Revolution: 1) PROVISIONAL REGT, 1781; SURVEYOR OF HIGHWAYS, 1782; 2) OATH OF FIDELITY, 1777; APPOINTED TO A COMMITTEE, 1781. Children included Anna, Ira, Medad, Miles, and Neri.[1]
