Violet Flora, daughter of Alfred Andrews (aka Stewart Norman Croll) and Rose Gallagher, was born in 1909[1]. She married in 1936[2] and died in 2002[3].
According to the 1931 Electoral Roll, Violet Flora ANDREWS lived at 14 Brett Street in the Subdistrict of Blyth, District of Bourke, Melbourne, in 1931 and, at that time, she was a milliner.
Violet was Lester's next of kin when he enlisted in 1942 for service in WWII and, according to the 1980 Electoral Roll, they were still living together in 1980 at Bentleigh, Victoria.
Violet and Lester had 2 children, Pamela Murphy (who died as a baby only 1 day old) and Colin Murphy.
