Biography

John was born on 2 May 1735 in Calne, Wiltshire, England. He was the son of Robert Angell and Sarah (Webb) Angell[1].

When John was 24 he married Patience Duck on 3 September 1759 in Calne, Wiltshire, England[2]. The couple had 8 children: Issac Angell, Mary Angell, Sarah Angell, John Angell, Patience Angell, Ann Angell, Betty Angell and William Angell.[3]
