Oliver Angell was born in 1717. He was the son of Hope Angell and Lydia (Olney) Angell. He was a farmer. He married Naomi (Smith) Angell on June 13, 1740 in Providence, Rhode Island. Together, they were the parents of Israel Angell, Hope Angell, Ruth Angell, Jason Angell, Adah Angell, Naomi Angell, and Elisha Angell. He passed away in 1799. He was buried in the Hope Angell lot in North Providence, Providence, Rhode Island, United States.
