Biography
Albus R. Angell, the son of Captain Samuel B. Angell and Octavia D Angell, married first Sarah and had five daughters: Emily, Abba, Elizabeth, Susan and Mary.
He then married Laura Ann (Cook) Bean, the widow of Rufus Bean, and raised three of her youngest children, also daughters.
As if having eight girls in the house were not enough, Albus and Laura Ann had one more child ... a girl, Grace B. Angell, born around 1873.
He lived to a ripe old age, as he is found on the 1900 census, an 80 year old light keeper, living at 1887 Lighthouse Road. Bowery Beach, South Portland, Maine
