Hannah (Annable) Bowerman immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).
Hannah was a daughter of Anthony Annable and his first wife, Jane Moumford. Hannah was born in Plymouth, Massachusetts, in 1623, not long after her parents had arrived in Plymouth (earlier that same year). That she was born in the Plymouth Colony is indicated by a 3 June 1662 list in Plymouth Colony Records of those eligible for a grant of land "as being the first born children of this government"; the list shows Anthony Anible claiiming a grant on behalf of his daughter Hannah Burman. That she was born in 1623 (and not later) is indicated by the inclusion of her name as a family member in connection with a 1623 grant of land to her father.[1]
1 June 1663. Anthony Annable and William Crocker were appointed by the Court to administer the estate of Thomas Burman. Records of the colony of New Plymouth in New England : printed by order of the legislature of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. (1855) Vol. 4 Court Orders 1661-1668 p. 41. The assumption being that she was deceased. There is no record of her death.
