Biography
Sallie was either the first or second of the eight known children of David Ansley and his wife Margaret Ravlin. (The birth date of one brother is unknown.) She married Thomas Atkins in 1822 or 1823 -- her first-born child was born in Dec 1823 and died in Feb 1824. Her family moved in the winter of 1831 to Preble County, OH and to Rush County IN in the winter of 1837. She is buried in Shiloh Cemetery, Rush County, IN.
