Biography
When Barbara Ellen Applegate was born on 27 March 1874, in Keltner, Christian, Missouri, United States, her father, Marion Alfred Applegate, was 25 and her mother, Mary Polly Caudill, was 20. She married John W. Nelson on 16 May 1892, in Douglas, Missouri, United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 8 daughters. She lived in Buchanan Township, Douglas, Missouri, United States in 1900. She died on 6 February 1943, in Spencer Township, Douglas, Missouri, United States, at the age of 68, and was buried in Harvill Cemetery, Bruner Township, Christian, Missouri, United States.
