Mary Appleton was baptised on 20 Jan 1799 at Stratfield Saye, Hampshire, daughter of William and Lucy.[1]

Mary Appleton spinster of Stratfield Saye married Robert Tanner bachelor of (uncertain), Berkshire, on 02 Jan 1823 at Stratfield Saye, Hampshire.[2]

It is presumed she was the Mary Tanner whose death was registered in Q1 1842 in the District of Wokingham, age 43.[11]

1851: Robert Tanner was resident at Swallowfield, Berkshire, age 53, Agricultural Labourer, born Swallowfield, Widower.[12][13]
