Research Notes

By 1637, Jung Hans(he dropped the Jung from his name),Verena and 3 children lived in Richterswil with another family. By 1650, Hans and Verena and 9 children lived in Hasslin-Hof.

In 1669, Conrad Jacob and Klianna left the Ybschen Farm in the German Province of Pfalz and moved to the Black Forest Area.

1685....during the Nine Years War, the french attacked some Mennonite communities in the Palatinate and 2 groups of mennonites left for Friederickstadt, Germany.

1693....Hans Jacob a minister, along with his wife and child, went to Friederickstadt. Hans Heinrich and Marig Hiestand went along with families named Gochenauer,Bruppacher, Strickli, Weber and Mellinger.
