Editha was born in 1873. She was the daughter of Ernest Arbuthnot and Annie Ball.

She married Basil Stephenson (son of Thomas Stanley Stephenson) on 30 July 1903 at Isle Of Wight, Hampshire, England.^[2]

They had two children.

Her husband died in 1950.
