By 1865 George Washington Armistead had first married to Martha Jane Brown
1843–1884 or (1843–1907).
George Washington Armistead married secondly about 1888 to Frances Elizabeth Byrd Armistead (1868–1946).
He died on 27 May 1920 and was buried at Hendrix Cemetery in Franklin County, Missouri, USA. [1]
