Biography

Dorothy was born in 1919. She was the second daughter of Herbert Armitage and Catherine Scutt. She married James King on Oct. 25th, 1941 in the Sturgeon Creek United Church, St. James. Manitoba. Jim was in the army, R.C. Artillery, and was overseas several years. He returned home on their forth wedding anniversary and they lived in St. James all their lives. They had five children, Robert born in 1946, David born in 1949, Ian in 1951, Virginia, their only daughter was born in 1953 and Randy in 1955. She passed away in1988.
