So this John is probably https://www.ancestry.com/family-tree/person/tree/169598769/person/132512445106/facts

who would be a brother of William Armstrong and a son to John Armstrong and Ann (Unknown) Armstrong McElhanney. His birthdate is pretty far off. Anyone mind if I make these changes?

John Armstrong, son of Robert and Alice Armstrong, was born about 1729 in Ireland. He emigrated to Pennsylvania Colony about 1735 with his parents and brother Robert. [Notable Southern Families, Volume 1, Page 8 There are 3 duplicate profiles of John attached as sons to Robert Armstrong with same or similar birth dates, but 3 different wives. John Armstrong (1729-abt.1810), John Armstrong (1725-1805) and John Armstrong (abt.1729-1788). They have been set as unmerged matches. It is obvious that the correct wife needs to be determined and the duplicates either merged into John Armstrong or detached as son of Robert and Alice.
