Biography

James Armstrong was born about 1812 in Ohio. He was married first to Harriet M. Perrigo on 28 October 1837; he was married second to Nancy Jane Westfall; he married third to Caroline Ackerson on 24 September 1865 in Lisbon, Franklin Township, Linn County, Iowa. James was a physician by profession. He died 30 Mar 1899 and is buried with Caroline Ackerson in Linn Co., Iowa.
